VCU’s Slower and Fairer Collaboration


“Gender Neutral Zero- Waste Collection, Garment One” By Kristina Wise, Kayla Kim





The Slower and Fairer class is VCU’s study abroad program in Oaxaca City Mexico. This class was a collaboration with Yagaa Silkworm Sanctuary. 

Here is a closer look at garment one.
The Shibori Blue is achieved by dying garment in Añil (indigo) with no mordant.
